“Our movement has been helped greatly by the support of people all over the world who understand our need for basic human rights. We are extremely grateful to those who have given us support. And we are fully confident that with this support we will be able to make Burma the kind of country that will be of benefit to its people and to the rest of the world”. (Aung San Suu Kyi, Burma's Elected Legitimate Leader)
Dear Friends,
Global Action for Burma (GAB) earnestly calls for the world citizens to write the letter/e-mail to Permanent Representative and Ambassador of “The People’s Republic of China to the United Nations” calling for Chinese government to support humanity and to stop protecting criminal military Generals who are killing and abusing its own people. As you all may aware that Burma crisis is at the very critical state. The recent so-called electoral laws show clearly that ruling junta doesn’t have the will to see national reconciliation in Burma. Junta is all doing this because international community fails to take action practically in the past.
United Kingdom Prime Minster Gordon Brown on 15 March 2010 takes timely action calling for the UN urgent meeting. We would like to urge all the justice loving people around the world to call for United Nations Security Council to take practical action on Burma. To be able to do so, please write the letter to Permanent Representative and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the United Nations to respect the will of the 50 million Burmese people, not a bunch of criminal military Generals. You can also e-mail to ChinaMissionUN@Gmail.com
The following is the letter sample. You can write your own letter or copy and paste the sample letter.

Dear H.E. Ambassador Li Baodong,
First of all, I would like to thank you for given me the opportunity to write to you. I am ................................................., a world citizen who believes that UNSC must support Humanity in Burma.
I am writing the letter to request Chinese government to stand by with 50 million Burmese people rather than a bunch of criminal military Generals. This is the time we must stand together with Burmese people in the name of Humanity. We urge the Chinese government to support calling for convening UNSC meeting on Burma and we urge the Chinese government not to use VETO again to protect criminal military regime if Burma is on the table of UNSC.
